Musical RPG Idea

Greetings Daniel00, nintendude794, evanafter, and anyone else interested. Our first official meeting date will be this Friday, September 30th, from 4:00-5:30PM. This is an introductory meeting, where we will meet, greet, and get to know each other. Some of the topics that we will talk about will be... What sparked your interest in this idea? What is your vision for the project? And, What video game engine, gameplay, art style, music, etc. would be best for our video game? We will meet in the Union down by the coffee shop, 1st floor. Thank you so much for your time and I hope to see you there.

It might be a good idea to edit your first post in this thread to include your meeting time, date, and location. =) Probably colorized like this to catch people's attention. That way, it's easy for anyone interested to find.

I'd be interested in helping out with some of the concept art and character design (on a non computer tech level). But I wouldn't be able to attend the meeting. I have work Friday evening :/.

I'm game, just as long as I get to beat people over the head with my bass guitar. ELLLLL KABONGGGGGG!!!!!! And now I'm dating myself, which is really weird, because I wasn't even alive when that first came out.

This sounds like an interesting concept and I like music based games (and music in general) and RPGs so maybe it'll be a great combo

I can maybe do some animations but mostly if there's 2D animation, still teaching myself 3D. Or maybe just some conept art |D
I could probably do some voice acting for more up-beat female characters...because that seems to be the only voice I can do. Unless you don't want to have any voice acting |D

I'm more curious how this thing is going to work out.

I might be able to make it to the meeting, if I know where it is xD

I'll try to keep you posted on the topics discussed that day by posting some of them here. Next time I'll be sure to schedule one where we all can meet without conflicting schedules, so be sure to post it here. Gorrammit. I just got a job, and the boss wants to meet with us at 4:00 Friday. Unless you're willing to push back the meeting time, I'm afraid I won't be able to join you. Sorry.

Great! My work schedule is kind of erratic since I'm new to the job, but for the next month at least:

Mon: Free time between 2:00-3:30, and after 6:30
Tues: Free after 3:20
Wed: Free between 11:00-3:30, and after 6:30
Thurs: Free after 3:20
Fri: ...for now, free before 3:30 and after 6:30
Weekends- free any time after 3:30

I was there and I just saw one person who was part of the group for sure at the union.

I got there really late (around 4:30) and didn't see anyone. Sorry I couldn't make it in time, I had unexpected guests so I got caught up cleaning.
