I would like to try some music comp and voice acting.
I have some experience in songwritting and theory from highschool as well as theater work.
I'm a bit rusty but I'd love to get some practice in music and some voice acting.
My primary instrument is the electric bass and I play in a Death Metal band. We can definitely switch up our style and record anything on the harsh end of the Rock spectrum. I've played around with Finale a bit for classical compositions and have recently been trying to learn to compose electronic music. (I'd love some pointers, this isn't the most intuitive process)
As for voice acting, I can do some gruff and goofy voices. I'm best at "noises" I guess. Grunts, yells, shouting, screams, laughes, anything that's not actually words.

Just so I'm not starting up another thread, I'm in there with you, man. Not only with the bass and having been a part of a death metal band (my growls are frakkin' insane now, man), but I can also do lots of voices. I'm a bit of a parrot in that respect, but I love sitting down with comics, manga, books, even, yeah, you guessed it, video games, and giving voices to the characters, all of them different somehow. Of course, we'd need a voice director if we were going to do anything with voice acting work, but yeah. Also, the growls. Grr.

I could probably function as a voice director of sorts. I did a bunch of acting in high school, including competitive acting(alot of which focuses on the vocal side of acting). I've done a bit of voice direction with my friends and stuff and they seemed to be able to pick up on what I was trying to get them to do pretty well. I could at least try my best.

I know I'm pretty late to this thread buuuut
I'm actually majoring in Music Composition, and minoring in Music Theory. I've got tons of experience dealing with Finale, and I'm learning to work with Ableton right now to make electronic music. So if anyone has any questions about anything music related, I'm here to help.

My area of expertise would be in percussion performance. Hand drums, keyboards, drum set, a trashcan...if it has a surface I can play it. I would definitely be interested in writing and recording and would be down for teaching other people who want to learn.
For anyone interested in getting more into music composition I have one piece of advice: LISTEN TO A LOT OF MUSIC. Don't limit yourself to one genre, keep exploring and you'll be amazed at what you can find. Just like with games, the more you play the more you learn - what works, what doesn't, what you like, what would be a good addition. Music is no different.
