Looking For Group
Hello again, gang. My name is Jeremy D Wilkins (or Braille, I don't mind either). Some of you probably met me at GDUNT or at one of the game nights. If not, hello. I'm a writer/game designer with a background in English and Theatre, and a penchant for getting distracted.
Last year, I was roped into a team to try to make a video game that sort of, sadly, didn't pan out. Due to schedule conflicts and personal life things, what started out as...like...twenty odd people, is now only two: myself and the ever-pleasant Will Clark who also frequents GDUNT meetings. Well, this year, we're looking to be more productive and have better luck than last year, so we're looking for a team again! We need artists, developers, writers, sound designers, the whole shebang.
I'd like to say we have a concrete idea for what we're making, but at this juncture we just have a bunch of vague ideas on the table and not really a specific push towards any of them yet. But fear not, for this just means we're currently very open to ideas from our team and would very much like you to be on it (our team, not the ideas).
You can feel free to contact me here on the forums, Facebook if you're into that thing, or at my email address: jdwilkins00@gmail.com. Thank you, and happy hunting.

Re: Looking For Group
The next meeting is pitch day, so you should definitely get up and talk about your project then.
Also, thread was moved to "Ideas>Recruiting"

Sorry about that. I guess I missed the recruiting forum's existence. My bad.

Re: Looking For Group
Alrighty, gang. With a new semester now in session, I am here once again to say that we are still looking for people. However, I can give you a little information on the specific game we are looking to make!
We're going to be working on a 2-D scrolling battle/platformer with a focus on customization. If any you remember the pitch for Custom-Man last semester: that is the game we have in mind. For everyone else, it's a like Custom Robo plus Megaman. You explore a 2-D platform world, fight enemies, and get parts to improve your character.
Right now, we're in need of artist and programmers for getting a functional alpha version out to show off and be proud of. So if this sounds like something you'd be interested in, as I said before, message me, facebook me, or send me an email at jdwilkins00@gmail.com.
