So your dream career is working in the video game industry, but it is difficult to get into. What if the only company that offers you a position is Zynga? Would you take it or switch to some boring, non-game field?
You could work there for a couple years, ship a game or two, then leverage that experience to maybe get a job somewhere else. You might even work for one of the teams that isn't worked to exhaustion.
Personally, I wouldn't do it. I don't like the idea of it making me get burnt out on working on games too early. I'd probably get a boring job, but still work on games on my own time and hopefully use that experience to get a job later.
But hey, that's what this club is for (shameless self promotion). It's to get you enough experience now, so you might get a job somewhere better when you graduate. p.s. feel free to delete your posts from here if you're nearing graduation and willing to work for Zynga.

I would get another job. I'd rather be an Independent developer with an non-game programming day job than work for a company that makes games like that.
